Surgeon Journey
As a surgeon, you want to provide your patients with the best possible results and the best experience when they choose to have surgery with you. However, a patients’ healing journey does not stop in between appointments with you and your nursing team.
While your expertise in surgery plays the majority part in the outcome, patients often require extensive post-operative care to ensure they achieve the best possible experience both aesthetically and emotionally.
Our CQC registered expert nursing team offers an Informed Specialist Aftercare Service, designed to complement your efforts and enhance patient satisfaction.
Many patients experience heightened anxiety during evenings and weekends when they feel most isolated. Often this is the time when they need additional reassurance or when complications are likely to occur. This can lead to undue stress, especially since elective cosmetic procedures frequently come with high expectations. Without adequate support, patients may interpret normal healing signs such as swelling, bruising, and redness as complications, increasing their anxiety.
In some cases, patients turn to online forums to express their concerns, sometimes mentioning surgeons by name, which could impact your reputation. Furthermore, if patients are unsure who will answer their after-hours calls, they may hesitate to seek help, potentially worsening their anxiety.
We provide a consistent and reassuring presence throughout the patient’s recovery journey. Our service includes routine follow-up calls and messages during the critical post-operative period, reinforcing your advice and ensuring adherence to DVT prevention protocols. All interactions are documented for your records, demonstrating your commitment to patient care.
